In the rapid change of the market,the enterprise's competitive advantage depends on the strong sales ability.In order to achieve a high sales performance,the enterprise must accurately grasp the pulse of the market.Sales forecasting is the premise and foundation for making scientific and reasonable sales and marketing plans.China LED industry is currently in a period of rapid development,the competition is increasingly intense,the rapid development of chip technology and packaging technology has greatly accelerated the upgrading of LED products,the manufacturers' inventory life cycle is shortened,and the inventory is becoming a big trouble.Therefore,enterprises urgently need a set of inventory management mechanisms,including an accurate sales forecasting model,to improve the inventory management performance.This paper discusses the construction of the sales forecasting model of manufacturing enterprises and the problems of how to integrate the sales forecasting model into the inventory management system.Firstly,the paper describes the basic concept and development background of sales forecasting and inventory management,then analyzes the development status of LED lamps market.After that,according to the data characteristics,the paper uses multiple regression model to build up the sales forecasting model,and then integrates the VMI inventory management system,realizes the improvement of inventory management performance.Finally,the future development and research directions of this research are discussed.The innovation point of this paper is to analyze the LED inventory management system,and design the VMI inventory management system,which includes multiple regression sales forecasting model,and provides a feasible way for enterprises to improve inventory management performance.
