Analyze On Inventory Management Policy Based On Supply Chain

How to realize the lowest cost of company's operation based on the satisfaction of customers rapidly and effectively is a problem that many enterprises faced today. This has become a focus in the research of management again. But when supply chain concept has appearanced we have a good mind to settle the inventory issues.Firstly, this paper introduces some issues about supply chain, inventory management and the devenlopment of inventory management policy. Secondly this paper discusses exhuatively VMI, JMI and CPFR on the conception, the origin, the way to realize the measure, the condition and a case about each measure. Finaly, this paper suggests that in order to use above measures three important solutions must be pay attention to. These are selecting the proper policy according to diffirefent central company, business process reengineering and evaluating the inventory management performance.The purpose of discusseing exhuatively on the measures is that when rare company uses above measures, we can give some suggestions and cases and push forward the development of management.
