Fengcheng City is a county-level city in Dandong City,Liaoning Province,with a long history of strawberry cultivation,relying on its good natural conditions and geographical location,Fengcheng City has become one of the important strawberry production bases in Liaoning Province.With the gradual improvement of people’s consumption level and the support of national policies,the strawberry industry in Fengcheng City has a good foundation for development in terms of industrial scale,standardized production,construction of agricultural cooperatives,fruit production,storage and deep processing.It has great potential for development in the future,but it still faces many problems in the process of development.There are many obstacles,such as scattered planting area,shortage of funds,backward facilities,poor brand effect and so on.This paper uses SWOT analysis method to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the strawberry industry in Fengcheng City,as well as the opportunities and threats it faces,from both internal and external aspects.Internally,the development advantages of the strawberry industry in Fengcheng City lie in natural conditions,geographical location,long planting history and abundant labor resources,etc.Its disadvantages lie in inadequate market positioning of the strawberry industry,lack of competitive advantage,scattered planting scale,unbalanced regional development,shortage of funds,etc.Brand awareness is weak,brand creation lags behind and so on.At the same time,from the outside,the strawberry industry in Fengcheng is also facing good opportunities and potential threats.Opportunities include new opportunities for the development of transportation and tourism,policy support from government departments,rapid development of cooperatives,and gradual improvement of scientific research level.The threats come from the weak driving force of leading enterprises and other places.Regional strawberry industry competition,the rise of other brand agricultural products industry.Overall,the competitiveness of the strawberry industry in Fengcheng City is insufficient,and the threats and disadvantages it faces far exceed the innate advantages and opportunities for development.There is still a lot of room to improve the competitiveness of the strawberry industry.Based on this,combined with the actual situation of Fengcheng City,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the competitiveness of the strawberry industry and accelerate the development of the strawberry industry in Fengcheng City,including speeding up land circulation and promoting scale management,increasing capital investment in strawberry cultivation,optimizing the structure of strawberry cultivation,and strengthening technical investment in strawberry cultivation.We should strengthen the cultivation of growers,create quality products,create brand names,enhance the influence and added value of products,establish a demonstration base,achieve standardized production,promote the construction of Internet + platform,widen the distribution channels,strengthen the leisure tourism agriculture,and achieve the integration of the three industries,so as to promote the strawberry in Fengcheng.Industrial development.
