Evaluation On The Development Level Of Inland Open Economy In Ningxia

The development of China's open economy began with reform and opening up,and was gradually promoted in accordance with the order of “East Coastal Special Economic Zone-Border and Inland Areas”.Among them,the eastern coastal areas have developed most rapidly,and the results have been remarkable.The level of social and economic development is significantly higher than the national average.Since the reform and opening up,the border areas and inland areas have achieved considerable success despite their respective achievements.From the overall horizontal comparison,the level of open economic development is still not high enough.Since entering the new era,in accordance with the requirements of the Party,while continuing to deepen the opening of the coastal areas,we should intensify the opening up of the western region,strive to make the western region achieve a higher level of development in further reform and opening up,promote the joint development of East and west of China,and accelerate the overall speed of economic development of our country.This move has pushed inland areas from the open end to the open front.The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is located in the northwest of China.As a relatively backward inland region,it bears the historical responsibility of developing an inland open economy.Based on this,the level of Ningxia's inland open-type economic development is comprehensively evaluated and analyzed,so that Ningxia can have a more objective and clear understanding of the present situation of its own inland open-type economic development from the micro level,and the gap and existing problems between its own inland open-type economic development and the surrounding provinces and the whole country from the macro level.After collecting,sorting out and carefully studying the current world's research results on open economy,this paper first introduces the theoretical research on open economy,and combs the research on the connotation of open economy,the connotation of inland open economy and the measurement of the level of open economy development.Secondly,it analyses Ningxia's trade,investment,tourism and production situation from a vertical perspective,and makes a systematic exposition of Ningxia's open economy.Then,from the above four perspectives,analyze the opening situation of Ningxia,construct acomprehensive evaluation index system,and use the method of coefficient of variation to comprehensively compare Ningxia with the other four provinces in Northwest China,as well as Ningxia with the national level of open-type economic development.According to the analysis,the level of open economy development in the northwest region is from Shaanxi to Gansu,Ningxia,Qinghai and Xinjiang.In comparison with the whole country,although the Ningxia inland open economy development level lags behind the national development level,the gap is shrinking year by year.Finally,based on the above situation,the corresponding policy recommendations are proposed for the problems found in the empirical research to improve the openness of Ningxia and lay the cornerstone for Ningxia to develop a high-quality inland open economy.
