In the current information age,with the transformation of economic structure,people pay more and more attention to high-quality life and corporate social responsibility.As the main part of the financial market,commercial banks play a very important role in the process of economic development and social progress.Therefore,commercial banks also need to assume the social responsibility in the process of pursuing maximum interests.This is the general requirement of the modern society to commercial banks.Under this background,this paper chooses China Construction Bank as a case to study the problems related to the practice of its social responsibility.In terms of evaluation methods,this paper attempts to use the stakeholder theory to construct the evaluation system of social responsibility of commercial banks.And based on the principal component analysis and comparative analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of its social responsibility,then this paper analyzes its existing problems.What's more,it combines with the current overall environment of our country and puts forward the corresponding development suggestions,so as to promote the high-quality development of China's banks social responsibility.Firstly,this paper expounds the related theories of social responsibility of commercial banks and clarifies the contents of social responsibility of commercial banks.Then it analyzes the necessity of carrying out social responsibility of commercial banks.On the basis of the guidelines and principles of social responsibility in foreign countries,and based on the stakeholder theory and combined with the actual situation of our country,the evaluation system of social responsibility index of commercial banks is constructed.By selecting the case of China Construction Bank's practice of social responsibility,this paper focuses on the current situation of China Construction Bank's practice of social responsibility.By the construction of the evaluation system of bank social responsibility,and using principal component analysis and comparative analysis,this paper measures the degree of responsibility to stakeholders,and analyzes the achievements and problems of CCB in the process of fulfilling its social responsibility.In the end,aiming at the problems existing in the practice of social responsibility of China Construction Bank,the paper analogizes to other state-owned commercial banks and puts forward corresponding policy suggestions to improve the implementation of the social responsibility of the state-owned commercial banks.At present,how to fulfill their social responsibility well is a problem for most commercial banks.This paper believes that the commercial banks themselves should understand the meaning of social responsibility deeply.And in order to improve the overall level of social responsibility of state-owned banks,the government's participation is inseparable.Media,consumers,industry associations and other forces involved.For commercial banks,first of all,they should promote the construction of corporate culture and strengthen the sense of social responsibility of commercial banks and their internal employees.Then they need to improve the reputation of commercial banks and establish a good corporate image.What's more,they also should improve their comprehensive competitiveness to maintain stable and sustainable development.In addition,it is necessary to play the role of external forces,such as the role of government guidance,social public supervision,and the supervision of banking associations.Then we can regulate and promote the better performance of social responsibilities of commercial banks.Thus,it is beneficial to the promotion of the overall social responsibility level of the banking industry in our country,so that the commercial banks of our country are in an advantageous position in the competition of the international financial market.
