As the world economic integration,manufacturing has become increasingly saturated competition,at the same time it also brought a rare opportunity and challenge to the enterprise.The customized needs of customers make the production mode changed,the original mass produced model was substituted by customized production mode.In order to meet the changing market and customization demand,the enterprise need to increase the individual components and processes,then that brought increased problem such these material supply problems as high inventory,high cost and longer processing cycle.The material supply management is the basis of ensuring the normal operation of enterprises,is the core part of the supply chain,involves the plan management,supplier management,and inventory management.If the logistics supply management can be improved,not only can help the enterprises to reduce operating costs,and based on a quick response to the changing market,but also can promote the market competition ability of the products.Based on actual business of the MG company as the background,the paper analyze material supply management situation,using the method of lean six sigma-to research,and go to seek the scientific method found the main problems existing in the current material supply.The current material supply management of the main problems are: long delivery cycle,the high inventory levels,and the low efficiency of logistics distribution.In this paper,according to the type of material classification,special material can be divided into customized material and the mass purchasing material,according to different types of materials using different scientific method,to improve material supply management.On the selection to improve methods of material supply management,needs to combine the actual conditions of business process,using the past huge data to establish the order forecast strategy according to the mass purchasing material;And use the order forecast model to analysis of various influence factors of orders for the environment;Apply to the customized material supply management,the paper use the postponement strategy,to study on improving the material production process,base on standardization and modularization design can help achieve the postponement effect,help to reduce the processing cycle and wip(work-in-process)inventory.In order to improve the speed of delivery at the same time,the enterprise should also control the wip inventory level and the logistics distribution,MG warehouse operation implementation based on the improvement of the third party logistics VMI strategy research,design a VMI,build the information system and choice of VMI suppliers,order model and based on this set of scheme design,to meet the MG between company with suppliers and the third party logistics company three order plan.By combining these three methods to improve the response speed,reduce inventory and improve the efficiency of supply logistics distribution,thus helping improve MG material supply problem of the company.Follow to the measure logic of find problem,analysis problem,and improve problem,this paper use the order forecast,postponement and the VMI strategy based on third party logistics management to improve the solution.By combining the MG actually improves the performance results,in order to prove the improved effect of material supply management,and can really help enterprises enhance the market competitiveness of products.
