With the rapid development of the mobile internet and technological breakthroughs in the fields of big data,cloud computing,IoT,and intelligent manufacturing,the business environment has undergone revolutionary changes,new business models such as “decentralization”,“offline experience,synchronized sales of online and offline channels",and “social new retail” will be the core direction of future business operations.Under this context,the traditional and simple cross-border import agency model has failed to meet the needs of current business environment,so it is necessary to create innovative models in order to keep pace with rapid changes in the market.Although cross-border ecommerce has accelerated the import and export trade,especially diversifed our imported goods,which has had a significant impact on the society and people's consumption upgrades.However,under the current new retail format,consumers have put a higher demand on the efficiency and service quality of the retail industry.From the perspective of sustainable development,meeting the needs of consumers,taking the consumer-oriented approach,and improving service quality and efficiency will undoubtedly increase the overall consumption and promote all-roound social progress.In addition,since the concept of new retail has been introduced for a relatively short period of time,and the definition of its meaning and characteristics is currently limited to the research process,especially the import of cross-border e-commerce,how to respond to the market requirements of new retail is a subject worthy of in-depth study.In this paper,it mainly adopts the following methods of research-literature analysis,field investigation and case analysis,and conducts an analysis on the external environment and internal factors of cross-border business enterprises under the new retail market.Through the field research and case study of typical cross-border business cooperation platform,it summarizes the relevant experience and combines with entrepreneurial motivation,development history,business model and strategies of Polystar to explore its path to business model innovation.The conclusions of this paper are as follows: First,based on the present situation,it puts forward the implementation strategy of its innovative model by the use of Baolixing's business model innovation factors;Second,through the comparative analysis of typical cases of cross-border e-commerce platform business model,it proposes some suggestions on the innovation path of business model of Baolixing;Third,under the new retail market conditions,it points out the direction of building a new cross-border retail business model for Poylstar from the perspectives of cross-border e-commerce and current business model of Baolixing,so as to provide feasible countermeasures for the fulfillment of innovative business model in other cross-border e-commerce import.
