In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s economy,the role of logistics industry in the national economy is becoming more and more prominent.However,the development of China’s Modern logistics and supply chain management services industry lags behind.The integrated logistics enterprise is small,the logistics cost is high.Furthermore,the transformation direction of Modern logistics enterprises is not clear.These problems seriously restrict the further development of China’s economy.The cost will not only affect the profit of the modern logistics enterprise,but also affect the competitiveness of enterprises,the development of space and other important aspects of the expansion.Strategic cost management is a powerful tool to enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises.Modern logistics enterprises should rationally use the method of strategic cost management to strengthen the long-term competitive advantage in the market from the whole strategic height of the enterprise.Firstly,this paper reviews the research results of strategic cost management at home and abroad,then introduces the connotation,modes,features and analysis tools of strategic cost management.Then,this paper analyzes the present situation of strategic cost management in EA by using the three strategic cost management tools,such as strategic positioning analysis,value chain analysis and strategic cost drivers,which combined with operating results and financial data of Eternal Asia Supply Chain Management Ltd(EA for short)in recent years.In view of the existing problems of EA in strategic cost management,such as the strategic and resource matching is not in place;poor supplier relationship management;the marketing effect is not ideal;internal management is more chaotic;the value chain analysis process needs to be optimized;low quality of staff;Staff mobility,work experience is generally inadequate.The paper put forward the improvement suggestions and safeguard measures in the guidance of the relevant strategic cost management theory and analysis methods,including strengthen the business and resource matching strengthen the contact with suppliers;formulate reasonable marketing plan,expand the enterprise influence;improve the organizational structure of EA;improve the value chain analysis process and establish the consciousness of modern cost management for all employees of the enterprise.Hope to be able to optimize the system of EA’s strategic cost management,further strengthen the competitive advantage of enterprise.
