With the development of international trade and the deepening of the international division of labor, more and more scholars are interested in the research of the impact of international logistics on international trade. With the proposal of “policy exchange, facilities interoperability, trade intercommunication, capital exchange, and interpersonal communication” as a key,“the Belt and Road” initiative has brought China closer to the world economy by further activating China’s export potential to the entire Asia-Europe continent. However, the economic and logistics level of countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” are uneven.China’s export trade faces many problems such as poor circulation, trade barriers and political environment. Therefore,in order to give full play to this new opportunity,we should actively carry out in-depth discussions and research on the logistics issues of China’s export links, and constantly promote the “five links”process along the “Belt and Road”.Through reading and combing the existing literature,it is found that most of the literature in the past deals with the impact of the development level of domestic logistics on export trade.Almost all literature affirm the promotion of trade development to trade. This paper focuses on the logistics issues encountered by China’s exports to countries along the Belt and Road.It is pointed out that the International Logistics Performance Index is an important indicator reflecting the level of logistics development and trade facilitation in various countries.Based on the logistics performance index of 53 countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”,the paper analyzes the current situation of the impact of the logistics performance of the countries along the “Belt and Road” on China’s export trade from the theoretical level followed by the gravity model for empirical analysis. The study found that logistics performance and its sub-indicators significantly positively affect China’s exports to countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”;the logistics development level of countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” is not high, and different routes and different regions The logistics performance is very heterogeneous. Therefore,in order to better promote China’s exports to countries along the line and promote the deep integration of free flow of factors and markets along the line,It is proposed to actively promote the construction and transformation of the national logistics infrastructure along the “Belt and Road” and deepen the regional integration and cooperation by building a modern logistics system with differentiated trade policies and setting up a multinational logistics alliance to strengthen international negotiations and cooperation.
