A Study On The Construction Of A Comprehensive Risk Management System For W Branch Of Pacific Property Insurance Company

The property insurance industry is an industry that focuses on the management and transfer of property risks.The particularity of the industry determines the risks it faces.On the one hand,as an independent market entity,property insurance companies face risks arising from external development environments and internal management.On the other hand,the business target of the insurance industry itself has certain risks.This feature has led to an increase in the difficulty of risk management in the insurance industry.After years of development,China's property insurance industry has become a mature industry and formed a sound risk management system.But with the gradual opening of the financial market and the increasingly developed Internet technology,the insurance industry,especially the grassroots property companies,have experienced frequent risk events,causing serious losses to insurance companies.Based on the author's years of experience in the W Property Branch of Pacific Property Insurance Company and the thinking about the current situation of risk management in W Branch,this paper finds that an important issue in the risk management process of W Branch is that the operational risk is out of control.The loss of control of operational risks is also caused by the imperfect risk management mechanism and the low quality of employees.In view of this,this paper proposes the construction of the comprehensive risk management system of W branch based on the theory of risk management and the actual risk and the main problems faced by W branch.Including the objectives and basic principles of risk management,this article puts forward the comprehensive risk management system of W branch vertically and horizontally,and the supervision and evaluation system and working mechanism with the risk management committee and the risk compliance department as the main body.It clarifies the process framework for comprehensive risk management of W Branch from environmental analysis,risk identification,risk assessment,risk response,and risk reporting mechanisms.And the implementation steps of the W branch's comprehensive risk management system are put forward.
