An Empirical Study On The Interactive Relationship Between The Development Of Shanghai Producer Services And Advanced Manufacturing Industry

On May 8,2015,the State Council promulgated Made in China 2025,which is the national strategy of our government to strengthen high-end manufacturing industry under the new international and domestic situation.The aim is to promote the innovation and development of manufacturing industry and to integrate it with the new generation of information technology.As an emerging industry,producer service industry is a supporting service industry directly related to manufacturing industry.It plays an important role in improving manufacturing productivity,promoting manufacturing technology progress,industrial upgrading and other fields.And the development relationship between producer services and manufacturing industry has always been a hot topic in academic research,but there are still few articles on the interaction between advanced manufacturing industry and producer services.Because the level of development of producer services in Shanghai is in the leading position in major cities of China,this paper focuses on producer services and advanced manufacturing industry in Shanghai.Empirical research was carried out on the interactive development.Firstly,this paper combs the connotation and extension of producer service industry and advanced manufacturing industry in the existing literature,and points out that the scope of producer service industry and advanced manufacturing industry studied in this paper is based on the documents "Classification of producer service industry" and "High-tech industry(manufacturing industry)" published by Shanghai Statistical Bureau and the investment used in this analysis.Input and output table data are defined.Secondly,on the basis of social division of labor and transaction cost theory,value chain theory and technological innovation theory,this paper analyses the interactive development mechanism between advanced manufacturing industry and productive service industry,and gives an intuitive description of the development status of advanced manufacturing industry and productive service industry in Shanghai through data analysis.Through theoretical analysis and data description,we believe that there is an interactive development relationship between advanced manufacturing industry and productive service industry,but the specific degree of interaction between the two industries needs to be further studied through econometric analysis and input-output analysis.Therefore,based on the statistical data of Shanghai Statistical Yearbook from 1999 to 2016,this paper establishes asimultaneous equation model of the interaction between advanced manufacturing industry and productive service industry.On the basis of testing the model data and the model itself,this paper uses Eviews 10 software to make a regression analysis of the interaction between producer service industry and advanced manufacturing industry in Shanghai.Using the data of Shanghai's input-output tables in 2002,2007 and 2012,the influence and sensitivity coefficients between different sectors of producer services and those of advanced manufacturing industries are calculated,in order to further determine the correlation between producer services and those of advanced manufacturing industries.The results of the two analysis methods are consistent,that is,the conclusion shows that Shanghai's advanced manufacturing industry and productive service industry have interactive development relationship,but the degree of interaction between the two industries is different,that is,Shanghai's advanced manufacturing industry has a strong driving role for producer service industry,and producer service industry promotes the advanced manufacturing industry.Use is relatively weak.Finally,this paper briefly analyses the channels and influencing factors of the interactive development between producer services and advanced manufacturing industries,and provides corresponding policy recommendations for further realizing the coordinated and interactive development between producer services and advanced manufacturing industries.
