With the promotion of the residents' consumption ability and the process of urban-rural development,the people's demand for spiritual and cultural consumption is increasingly strong,the number of leisure,tourism,visiting relatives and other activities is increasing gradually,and the number of tourists is increasing rapidly,which has brought new opportunities and prospects for the development of tourism.Based on such an industry environment,this paper selects the earlier Y company of tourism industry as the research object,and uses DuPont Model to make a comprehensive exploration of its profitability.Profit is the source and motive force of the continuous and healthy growth of the company.The purpose of the enterprise to invest in the production and operation of the capital is to gain more profit and improve its own value.But now the industry competition is more and more intense.As the main body of the market,enterprises must constantly improve their profitability if they want to gain a foothold in the competition.This paper will make a thorough and systematic analysis of Y company with DuPont Model and SWOT analysis method.According to its annual financial report for five years from 2013 to 2017 in the Shenzhen Stock Exchange,keeping close to the core index of return on net assets.At the same time,five other A-share listed tourism companies with good development trend are compared and analyzed.Research and evaluation of capacity and operation status.At the same time,we find out the internal relations and factors behind the index value,and use various financial analysis methods,such as factor analysis,trend analysis and contrast analysis,to find out the main factors that affect their profitability and financial situation,and put forward some effective suggestions on the problems and shortcomings of Y company in the process of operation.In order to promote Y company to enhance its profitability and development capabilities.The most important point is that other companies in the tourism market can also improve their own development level and competition status according to their actual development needs and appropriate reference to relevant suggestions andcountermeasures,so as to enhance the level of common stable and sustainable operation of various economic entities in the tourism industry,and then promote the sound and rapid development of the whole industry,so as to make the development of tourism in our country to a higher level.In turn,the overall development and expansion of the industry can promot the various entities in the industry.
