A Study On The Impact Of Foreign Direct Investment To Green Total Factor Productivity In Henan Province

In recent years,Henan Province has implemented its investment strategy in the context of the country 's comprehensive,multi-level,and wide-ranging opening-up strategy.With the continuous optimization of the business environment,the introduction of foreign direct investment in Henan has gradually increased.The entry of foreign capital has promoted the sustained,rapid,and stable development of Henan's economy,but the process of investment is often accompanied by the transfer of pollution,which contradicts the concept of developing an ecological civilization.This paper uses the green total factor productivity index and adopts the research method of inductive description(qualitative analysis)and related econometric models(quantitative analysis)to analyze the impact of foreign direct investment(FDI)on green total factor productivity in Henan Province.Under the constraints,analyze the fluctuation of green efficiency in Henan Province in recent years,so as to provide ideas and countermeasures for Henan Province to make reasonable use of FDI policy adjustments and improve the level of green economy development.Based on the foreign direct investment theory and green total factor productivity theory,the article analyzes the effects of foreign direct investment on green total factor productivity by studying and combing relevant domestic and foreign literature.After that,the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis were combined to further explore the impact of foreign direct investment on Henan's green total factor productivity.The research part is mainly divided into three aspects.The first is to analyze the actual use of foreign investment in Henan Province.It is mainly carried out from the development history,scale,structure,and industry distribution.It can be seen that the overall development rate of foreign direct investment in Henan Province It is relatively fast,but there is uneven regional development,and it is mainly used in the central and western regions of Henan Province.In addition,the source of foreign direct investment is relatively stable,and the industrial structure is relatively centralized.After that,the mechanism of foreign direct investment's impact on green total factor productivity in Henan Province is studied.It is mainly divided into fouraspects: capital formation effect,technology spillover effect,technology transfer effect and environmental effect of foreign direct investment.Among them,the capital formation effect includes the crowding-in effect and the crowding-out effect.The technology spillover effect includes the demonstration / imitation effect,competition effect,human capital flow effect,and inter-industry spillover effect.The various effects of FDI make foreign direct investment ultimately affect the growth and change of green total factor productivity.Finally,through the empirical analysis and measurement test,when measuring the green total factor productivity,the non-radial and non-angled SBM model and DEA-GML index in the data envelopment analysis method are used to calculate the green total factor productivity in Henan Province.In addition,construct a dynamic panel model to conduct a systematic investigation of foreign direct investment.In empirical testing,the system GMM is further used for testing.The results show that foreign direct investment promotes green total factor productivity in Henan Province.
