Innovation is an important support for economic development,and talent is an important guarantee for achieving development.The emergence of innovative achievements requires the unremitting efforts of scientific researchers,and marketization of scientific research achievements also requires close cooperation between scientific research institutions such as universities and enterprises.The state actively supports the flow of talents between enterprises and universities,and the Ministry of Education has also proposed to improve the regulations for teachers to work part-time,leave school,and return to school.Another wave of "literati going to sea" has emerged in China."Literati going to sea" is a unique social phenomenon formed in our country in a special historical period.Many scholars and teachers who have taught in universities or worked in scientific research institutions have entered enterprises,engaged in commercial activities and become executives of enterprises.So how executives with academic background will influence the company,few people have studied it at present.The strategy is forward-looking.It paints the future of the company and affects the company’s future specific resource allocation and industrial layout.If the decision is wrong,it will cause huge losses to the company.Constrained by government regulations,the spread of expert structured knowledge,and the influence of herd mentality,conventional strategies are often formed within the industry.The conventional strategy in the industry is a summary of the practical experience of many companies,which can effectively reduce risk of the enterprise.The strategy of the enterprise is different from common practices of the industry,which will increase the risk of the enterprise.The strategic choice of enterprise is very important.With the increase of the proportion of academic executives,it is of great practical significance to study the relationship between the academic background of executives and the strategic choice of enterprises.With the increase of company scale,the management of the company becomes more and more difficult,the "absence" of owners becomes more and more prominent,and the power of the executives in the company is also increasing.In order to gain a higher reputation and social status,corporate executives may take more aggressive strategies to attract others’ attention by choosing a higher degree of strategic difference,even at the expense of shareholders’ interests.Internal control is the formal regime and risk management tool of an enterprise,whether it can affect the strategy formulation of the enterprise,or adjust the relationship between the characteristics of managers and the strategic difference of the enterprise.Based on the phenomenon of "literati going into the sea",this paper makes an in-depth study on the relationship among the executive academic background,internal control and deviant strategy.The imprinting theory states that an individual’s experience will shape the individual’s personality,affect the individual’s decision-making preferences and behavior style,and have a sustained and profound impact on the individual.Based on upper echelons theory,imprinting theory and strategic management theory,this paper explores the relationship among the executive academic background,internal control and deviant strategy.The research results show that there is a significant negative correlation between the academic background of executives and deviant strategy;a significant negative correlation between the internal control and deviant strategy;internal control can positively moderate the relationship between executive academic background and deviant strategy,encourage executives with academic background to take higher risks.The research opens the black box between the academic background of executives,internal control and deviant strategy,and tests the moderating role of internal control.This article provides a theoretical basis for the selection and recruitment of corporate executive teams,and affirms the role of internal control.This article can make enterprises pay more attention to the construction of internal control and has very important practical significance.
