Study On Risk Management Of Supply Interruption In P Company

The world's economy and politics are full of more and more uncertainties after the global economic crisis in 2008,which makes supply interruption risk management a very important part of supply chain management.In the past five years,P company has been growing steadily.However,due to the influence of domestic and foreign supply chain environment,supply interruption occurred many times,which has greatly affected the normal operation of P company and caused P company great losses.Accordingly,it is urgent to improve the supply level of P company.This paper takes the case of the components supply disruption in P Company in 2016 as a starting point and sorts out the materials and suppliers involved in the supply interruption which occurred frequently in P company in recent years.Furtherly,based on the theory of supply interruption risk management and considering the actual situation and the purchase management data of the enterprise,this paper proposes a logic model based on EXCEL.By identifying high interruption risk materials and high interruption risk suppliers,according to the characteristics and importance of material procurement,this paper develops a supply interruption risk management method for high interruption risk materials.And this paper also evaluates the risk of P company's key suppliers by classifying A,B,C and D,and formulates supply interruption risk management strategies for suppliers with different interruption risk levels.In view of the characteristics of P company's supply chain and the shortcomings in risk management,this paper puts forward a supply interruption risk management scheme.This scheme is based on Excel safety inventory statement which sets up safe inventory and multi-source development procurement.It traces and manages the regular order contracts in real time and signs supply contracts to key strategic suppliers,so as to reduce the risk of supply interruption.Based on the existing conditions of P company and the analysis of purchasing data,this paper studies and analyses the supply interruption risk cases of P company.A set of feasible supply interruption risk management methods are designed for P company,and it is expected to improve the level of supply interruption risk management of P company to a certain extent.At the same time,this paper also provides some ideas and methods of supply interruption risk management for small and medium-sized enterprises which pursue high-quality materials but are in a disadvantaged position in the procurement market like P company.The ideas and methods can help these small and medium-sized enterprises improve their competitiveness of supply chain.
