With the development of social economy and the increasing demand for logistics services, people have higher and higher requirements for logistics services.Delayed delivery is a common problem of vehicle logistics, which will lead to a decline in customer satisfaction, affect secondary consumption, and make the relationship between customers and logistics enterprises tense, which are not conducive to the long-term development of logistics enterprises. Therefore, how to set price compensation policy is the key to solve the problem of delayed delivery, improve the service satisfaction of logistics enterprises and ease the relationship between customers and logistics enterprises.A delivery cycle can be divided into several stages.Whether the delivery is delayed is related to the surplus of this stage(i.e.the part that does not reach the full load)and the demand of the next stage. There are a lot of multi-stage problems in real life, and since two-stage problems are the most common,we discuss two-stage problems based on high probability.Aiming at the problem of two-stage compensation mechanism for delayed delivery,we mainly does the following work:1)Due to the randomness of residual quantity and demand, its influence on the next stage cannot be directly judged,so the expected value model is used to solve the randomness of residual quantity and demand.2)The remaining amount in the next stage is affected by the demand in the previous stage and the loading amount of a vehicle, while the remaining amount, the demand and the loading amount directly affect the delivery cost. Therefore,in order to determine the delayed delivery compensation in the two stages,we need to take these three uncertainties into full consideration.3)Using different principles, this dissertation determines the relationship between residual quantity, demand and loading quantity, and further determine the compensation pricing model. For example, the third chapter of this dissertation determines the compensation pricing model based on interest balance. In the fourth chapter, the compensation pricing model is determined based on distribution cost.In the third chapter, the influence of different distribution of surplus quantity in the first stage on the compensation model is studied.4)This part determines compensation pricing and compensation strategy based on cases.Through the above discussion and analysis,a compensation model is obtained which is easy to calculate and can guarantee the reliability of the results. With a reasonable compensation model,it can not only protect the rights and interests of customers, but also save the distribution cost of logistics enterprises to the greatest extent, which is conducive to improve the relationship between logistics enterprises and customers.
