The development of the automotive industry can reflects the economic level of a country. With the rapid growth of economy and improvement of people’s consumption level, vehicles have become luxury goods that people can afford. The rapid expansion of the automobile market stimulating the rapid development of automobile logistics industry.Therein, the status of finished vehicle logistics is prominent.BBA(BMW Brilliance Automotive) company is the leader in the automotive industry.In recent years, the delivery efficiency and transportation cost have become the case enterprise’s focus of attention with the increasing of sale volume. Improve the delivery efficiency and reduce transportation cost have become a problem that the enterprise want to solve. In this paper, take the BBA company as research background, and design optimizing solution for delivery model and distribution path plan. The main research content include:First, this paper made an introduction for BBA finished logistics system situation,include delivery process and distribution model. Analyzed the existing problems of finished vehicle delivery flow and distribution model. The problems were that the current delivery quantity could not meet the planning delivery quantity, and the distribution cost was beyond the budget.Second, the VPS project was built for improving the delivery mode. The optimal idea was that the delivery batch was reduced to optimize the existing delivery model based on IE improvement theory and lean thinking, and actual measurements were made on the scene. Through the promotion of new delivery mode, the correct optimization train of thought was verified. To further verify the accuracy of the new delivery model and measured data, the simulation model was established by using Flexsim software. After setting the parameters and physical in the simulation models, model simulation ran. By observing the state of running and simulation results of the model, the feasibility of the improvement program was verified.Final, the finished vehicle logistic distribution path optimization model of different phase was established. For the distribution phase from PDA to DDA, the minimum transportation cost was took as the target to build the finished vehicle logistic distribution path optimization model based on common distribution. Combined with the actual situation of BBA company, integrated the resources with another car company’s PDA and DDA. The Lingo software was used to solve the model to verify availability of the model.For the distribution phase from DDA to dealer, the shortest path was took as the target to build the finished vehicle logistic distribution path optimization model. The CW algorithm was used to solve the model. The validity of the model was verified with an example.
