With the rapid development of the market economy and a wide variety of business models,the current income standards can no longer be applied to new types of businesses and complex transactions.This phenomenon is particularly evident in the online game industry.In recent years,the online game industry has developed rapidly.In 2017,the total revenue of China's online game industry reached 235.57 billion yuan,a year-on-year increase of 23.7%The accounting standards of traditional industries can not effectively solve the problem of revenue recognition in the online game industry.The release of IFRS 15 regulates the accounting treatment of the online game industry.By comparing the differences between the old and new income standards,analyzing the impact of the new income standards on the online game industry is of great significance to the accounting research of this industry.This paper compares the old and new income standards from the two aspects of theory and practice,and chooses T company as a case in practical operation.Because of its virtual nature and many types of business types,it is representative in the online game industry.This paper not only analyzes the changes brought by the new and old income standards to T companies,but also the impact of the new income standards on T companies.On this basis,from the three aspects of revenue recognition,measurement and disclosure,it analyzes some problems that T Company still has in the process of implementing new income standards,and proposes targeted solutions.This paper is divided into the following six parts:The first part,the introduction.This paper introduces the background and research significance of this paper,and expounds the research status in this field in the way of literature review.At the same time,it summarizes the research methods and content framework adopted in this paper,and finally puts forward the innovation of this paper.The second part,related concepts and theoretical basis.It introduces the definition of income,the relevant provisions of the original income standard and the core content of the revision of the new income standard.At the same time,the differences between the old and new income standards are summarized.The third part,the case introduction.Introduce T company's profile and income information.Through analysis,it is found that the main characteristics of T company revenue recognition measurement disclosure,and based on this,lay the foundation for the case study below.The fourth part,case analysis.Analyze the application of T company's implementation of the new revenue standard,according to the characteristics of T company's revenue recognition and operation mode,based on the changes brought by the new income standard to T company,and discover the impact of the new income standard on T company and implement the new income standard Effectiveness analysis.The fifth part,the suggestion.It mainly starts from the two aspects of online game enterprises and perfecting the income criteria and puts forward some application suggestions for the revenue confirmation measurement and disclosure of online game enterprises.The sixth part,conclusions and shortcomings.Summarize and analyze the insufficiency of the full text.
