Analysis Of Storage Behavior And Economic Benefits Of Potato Growers In Shandong Province

China's potato production has always ranked first in the world,which plays an important role in ensuring the food security of Chinese residents.At the same time,the planting income of potato is higher than that of wheat,corn and rice.Planting potato has become an important source of income for farmers in China.In 2015,the Ministry of agriculture proposed that China will launch the strategy of potato as the main grain,making potato another main grain after rice,wheat and corn.The implementation of the strategy of main grain of potato has brought great opportunities to potato industry.Shandong province is a big potato planting Province in China,and potato income plays an important role in farmers' income.However,after harvesting potatoes,some farmers choose to store,some farmers do not store,in order to explore the factors that affect the storage behavior of farmers,and whether the storage behavior of farmers can significantly increase the income and increase the degree.In this paper,200 valid questionnaires were collected from five major potato producing areas in Shandong Province.Through the description and analysis of the samples,the basic situation of farmers' potato storage in Shandong Province was understood.Then based on the logit model,the influencing factors of farmers' potato storage behavior were analyzed,Based on the ISM model,this paper analyzes the deep-seated factors that affect the storage behavior of farmers,and explores whether the storage behavior of farmers can significantly affect their income based on the processing effect model.The results show that the source of income,topography,potato yield,whether to store before,the understanding of storage technology,sales channels,and the attitude of family members all significantly affect farmers' potato storage behavior,among which the main source of income,the understanding of storage technology and the attitude of family members are the most superficial factors affecting farmers' storage behavior,whether to store before,and the attitude of farmers Sales channels and potato production are the indirect middle-level factors that affect farmers' potato storage behavior,and terrain is the deepest factor that affects farmers' storage behavior.Compared with the farmers who do not store potatoes,the farmers who store potatoes can increase their income by 12.2% per mu.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward: to improve farmers' understanding of storage technology,to speed up the construction of Rural storage points,to establish a subsidy mechanism for potato storage,and to strengthen the construction of potato information system.
