Research On The Profit Model Of WuXi Apptec Co.,Ltd.from The Perspective Of Sharing Economy

In recent years,with the development of the domestic economy,people's pursuit of life quality has been continuously improved,especially the pursuit of health.At the same time,the aging of population is also deepening.Under this background,the demand for medicines is increasingly stronger than before,and the pharmaceutical industry is developing rapidly.In the process of research and production of new drugs,pharmaceutical companies always choose to part of the research and production process out of considerations in efficiency and cost.The outsourcing drives the rise and development of the pharmaceutical R&D service industry.As a result of social specialization,the pharmaceutical R&D service has the effect of improving efficiency and reducing costs comparing with traditional pharmaceutical processes.Through trend analysis,it has been found that the pharmaceutical R&D service industry has shown a trend of rising demand,scale growth,and long tail effects in recent years.However,due to the existence of customer barriers and the intensification of industry competition,the outsourcing profit model can no longer satisfy the acquisition of long-tail customers and the retention of original customers.In view of this,some companies represented have combined with the sharing economy model,such as WuXi Apptec Co.,Ltd..The sharing economy is a new economic model that has gradually emerged in recent years.Its core is to effectively match supply and demand through the platform to achieve the satisfaction of demand and the efficient use of resources.Its features fills the shortcomings of the current profit model of pharmaceutical R&D service companies.Therefore,this article takes the combination of the profit model of the pharmaceutical R&D service industry and the sharing economy as the core issue,and uses WuXi Apptec Co.,Ltd.as the research case to analyze the profit model of the share economy through relevant theories.By summarizing the existing research on profit model and sharing economy,this article builds the analysis framework and analysis process by using the analysis of sharing economy theory,profit model theory,multilateral platform theory and vertical integration theory.In the research process,this article firstly introduces the sharing economy theory and the sharing economy profit model framework of WuXi Apptec Co.,Ltd.through industry analysis and introduction of WuXi Apptec Co.,Ltd.,combined with the sharing economy theory.Then this article Compares the form and profitability of WuXi Apptec Co.,Ltd.with competitors.After that,based on the analysis of the current situation of WuXi Apptec Co.,Ltd.sharing economy profit model,combined with the sharing economy theory,multilateral platform theory and vertical integration theory,this paper analyzes the realization method,production mechanism,profitability of profit model and possible risks,with putting forward reasonable suggestions.The study found that in WuXi Apptec Co.,Ltd.sharing economic profit model,it used the sharing platform's supply-demand matching,the network externalities of the multilateral platform and the vertical integration of the platform to realize the discovery of the long-tail strategy and potential demand.In this reason,the enterprise have created a variety of income realization methods.Based on the analysis of the profit model effectiveness,it is found that WuXi Apptec Co.,Ltd.sharing economy profit model has strong profitability,and has significantly improved the value creation capabilities in creating consumer surplus,capacity utilization,and aggregate value.This article analyzes WuXi Apptec Co.,Ltd.profit model,describes the framework of WuXi Apptec Co.,Ltd.sharing economy profit model,and illustrates the effects of the profit model through data analysis.For the pharmaceutical R&D service industry,it helps to realize the combination of the industry and the sharing economy model.It has reference significance for the future development of the industry.
