Impact Of Transactional Leadership On Project Success

In the field of project management,the role and impact of leaders have been highlighted by many researchers.Leaders contribute to the success of projects by utilizing their skills and capabilities.The research aimed to find out the impact of transactional leadership on the success of projects using team building as a mediating variable.The case of engineering projects in Pakistan was taken to carry out the analysis.The study involves carrying out primary data using a structured questionnaire.The project managers,supervisors,and team leaders were targeted during the study.The data collected from 150 respondents and information gathered by reviewing the literature helped in proving that transactional leadership has a significant impact on project success.The regression model was used to statistically analyze the data,which helped in developing the results to answer the research question.The transactional leaders use their leadership traits and skills to promote team building,which contributes to the effectiveness of team members.The study has concluded that the transactional leadership style can be adopted by the project managers in Pakistan to ensure that the project is carried out efficiently.It can help in meeting the needs and requirements of the stakeholders involved in the project...
