In the 21st century, judging the strength of countries is more and more based on whether they master more unique technologies. As one of the high-tech industries, the information technology industry has become an inexhaustible driving force for China's rapid economic growth. It is distinguished from other industries by the high integration and accumulation of knowledge, technology and talents. The senior management team in the industry is an indispensable precious human capital. While all sectors of society are paying attention to the development process of the industry, they are more concerned about whether the incentive mechanism of their industry managers is reasonable and effective. The article takes the 2014-2018 data of 61 information technology companies in China's initial public offering for more than 3 years as the research sample, and discusses the effects of monetary compensation and equity incentives on the basis of an empirical test.Whether the background characteristics of the senior management team have a regulating effect on the incentive effect, the following conclusions are drawn:the monetary compensation and shareholding incentives of the senior management team have a positive correlation with the annual business performance indicators of the company;the average age in the background characteristics of the senior management team is negative It affects the annual business results of the company. The academic background and the proportion of female members have a positive effect, and the average length of service has no significant effect. The average age of team members enhances the salary incentive effect and weakens the shareholding incentive effect. The academic background is opposite to the direction of adjustment. There was no significant regulating effect on the average length of employment and the proportion of female members.
