Project loan is a loan issued by a commercial bank for a specific project,and its repayment source depends on the income after project operation.Compared with other loan businesses,project loans are faced with greater risk challenges in business cycle,project operation influencing factors and other fields.D branch of bank M has a large amount of project loan business and a wide range of business distribution.Strengthening the research on risk management of project loan will help the bank to ensure the safety of credit funds and promote the level of risk management and market competitiveness.First of all,this paper summarizes the background,purpose and significance of the research,the domestic and foreign literature on the project loan risk and risk management theory of commercial banks,and the relevant concepts of project loan risk,comprehensive risk management theory,internal control theory,information asymmetry theory,etc.This paper expounds the basic situation and operation process and quality analysis of M bank D branch project loan.On this basis,taking the a sewage treatment construction project loan carried out by D branch of bank M as an example,the basic situation of the project,project risk identification,project risk assessment and risk response measures are studied and analyzed.Based on the case analysis,this paper proposes that commercial banks should strengthen the organization and management of risk,improve the ability of risk identification,and improve the early warning management mechanism and system in the process of project loan business.In this paper,D branch project loan business is studied to improve its project loan risk management ability,which provides reference for similar commercial banks to improve risk management level.
