The Spatial And Temporal Evolution Of Regional Innovation Ability And Its Spatial Effect On Economic Growth In Shandong Province

At present,"innovation-driven" is replacing investment as a new source of promoting regional innovation and promoting regional economic growth.And it is pushing China to make continuous progress in all fields and has made a number of technological innovations.Shandong province is located in the southeast coast of China,and its economic aggregate ranks among the best in the country,which effectively promotes the economic growth of China.However,the economic growth of Shandong province mainly depends on the traditional resource consumption and labor input.At the same time,the unbalance of innovation ability in Shandong seriously restricts its economic growth and balanced development.Facing the new historical situation,the Shandong provincial government has put forward the goal of accelerating the work of replacement of old drivers and promoting the reform of the quality of economy growth in Shandong.In conclusion,the study of Shandong province's regional innovation ability and its spatial effect on economic growth is of great significance for improving Shandong province's regional innovation ability,This study can improve the imbalance of regional innovation ability and realize the balanced economic growth in Shandong province.This paper constructs an evaluation index system to measure the regional innovation ability of Shandong province.This paper selects 11 indicators and calculates the regional innovation ability of 17 cities in Shandong province by entropy method from three perspectives of innovation input,innovation output and innovation potential.Then,exploratory spatial data analysis(ESDA)was used to directly analyze the development level and differences of regional innovation ability in Shandong province from 2007 to 2018,and the spatial evolution characteristics of regional innovation ability of 17 cities in Shandong province.Finally,regional innovation ability as an influencing factor is regressed.The spatial econometric model(Lag,Error,Dubin)is used to study the influence of regional innovation ability on economic growth in Shandong province,and the spatial spillover effect of regional innovation ability on economic growth is analyzed and evaluated.The research shows that :(1)on the whole,the regional innovation ability of Shandong province has been significantly improved,and the overall difference has been decreasing year by year.The spatial pattern of regional innovation capacity in Shandong province shows a trend of gradual decline from east to west,and the north is stronger than the south.(2)it is found that regional innovation in Shandong province has a positive impact on economic growth through modeling and regression analysis.The improvement of regional innovation ability in this region can significantly promote the improvement of regional economic level,and the improvement of regional innovation ability in surrounding regions will also have a positive impact on the regional economic growth.(3)in addition to the impact of regional innovation ability on economic growth,Shandong province's fixed capital input also plays a significant role in promoting regional economic growth,and its contribution is much higherthan that of regional innovation.(4)labor input has a significant negative impact on economic growth in Shandong province.Development level is also affected by other factors such as fixed capital,employment and neighboring economic development level.Finally,according to the research conclusion,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the development of Shandong province.(1)attach importance to scientific and technological progress,increase innovation input,and improve the overall regional innovation capacity of Shandong province.(2)make full use of the spillover effect of regional innovation space,narrow the inter-regional difference of Shandong province's innovation ability,and achieve balanced economic growth.(3)change the economic growth mode of Shandong province from investment-driven to innovation-driven.(4)increase investment in education,improve the quality of workers in Shandong province,realize the promotion function of human capital to economic growth.
