In recent years,with the continuous development of the economy,enterprises have paid more and more attention to the management of talents.The ability to effectively recruit talents is vital to the development of the company,and whether the salary incentives can effectively achieve the effect of incentives is affecting employees to stay.Key factor.For enterprises,measures to widen the pay gap are usually used to motivate employees,leading to the current widespread gap between executives and employees.Whether widening the pay gap can effectively motivate employees and then have a positive impact on improving corporate performance has always been a problem that companies pay close attention to,and it is also the core topic of this paper.With the stable development of China's real estate industry,the salary level of the industry has grown rapidly,which is generally higher than other industries.Although the average salary level of the real estate industry is relatively high,the salary gap between executives and employees is relatively large.Too large a salary gap tends to reduce employees' satisfaction with the company and the degree of work effort,which is not conducive to the company's long-term development.Therefore,exploring the relationship between the pay gap and corporate performance is of great significance to the development of real estate companies.Based on this background,this article takes real estate enterprises as the research object,and firstly elaborate on related concepts,championship theory and behavior theory.Secondly,based on the data of real estate companies from 2014 to 2018 for five consecutive years,the Dickinson cash flow combination method is used to classify the sample companies according to different life cycles,and the number of samples in the growth period,mature period and recession period is obtained.Thirdly,from the perspective of the enterprise life cycle,the regression analysis method is used to explore the impact of the salary gap between executives and employees on the performance of the real estate company at different stages of growth.The following research conclusions are drawn:(1)In the growth period,the gap between the compensation of executives and employees of real estate companies has a positive effect on corporate performance;(2)In the mature period,the gap between the compensation of executives and employees has a positive effect on corporate performance,and In the mature period,the salary gap of the enterprise has a greater positive impact on the enterprise performance than in the growth period;(3)In the recession period,the salary gap between the executives and employees has a restraining effect on the enterprise performance.Finally,combined with the research conclusions of this article,relevant policy recommendations are put forward from two perspectives of real estate enterprises and government departments to provide a certain reference for enterprises and government departments.
