| In 2015,the former National Tourism Administration put forward the concept of “Tourism+” and deployed the scheme of creating the all-around tourism demonstration zones, which received positive responses from around the country. In 2016,Yongtai County of Fujian Province was successfully selected as the National All-around Tourism Demonstration County.Since 2017,in line with the reality of Yongtai County and in conjunction with the current implementation of rural revitalization development strategy,Yongtai County has been striving to explore a road of all-around tourism development by building advantageous products, promoting industrial integration, enhancing tourism measures, and actively integrating resources. The paper elaborates related concepts and basic theories and introduces the status of the economic development of Yongtai County.Through in-depth interviews and questionnaire surveys and by using descriptive statistics and factor analysis, the paper takes Porter’s Diamond Model as the framework to analyze the development and issues of rural tourism of Yongtai Country from the perspective of all-around tourism. The underlying causes for the weaknesses are to be noted. The ideas for the development of Yongtai rural tourism are not up-to-date and there is not sufficient innovation.Big picture of overall tourism and the integration among regions are not in place. It is difficult for ecological resources to be turned into tourist resources and rural economic development lacks sustainability. The structure of tourist products is fairly simple and the integration capacity of economic factors is weak. There is no in-depth exploration to the rural culture and the tourist competitiveness is low.Based on the literature study and the real-world situation, the paper proposes solutions. In the context of the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,it is important to promote the integration of rural tourism industry, deepen tourism publicity and marketing, create a smart tourism service system, and to promote the upgrading of tourism products. |
