Research On China's Investment In "The Belt And Road" Regional Industry

Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has developed rapidly,and it has become the second largest economy,the largest commodity exporter and the second largest foreign investment country.Since 2014,China has become a net capital exporter,and China's outbound direct investment has entered a new stage.China's “The Belt and Road” initiative has been actively responded to by countries along the belt and road,and “The Belt and Road” countries along the belt and road have become a new growth point of China's outbound investment.However,countries along the belt and road have different resource endowments,and there are also great differences in the basis of cooperation with China and the religious,cultural and historical identity between countries.China also has different industrial choices and economic objectives for investment in countries and regions along the belt and road.China's investment strategy along the “The Belt and Road” has become a hot topic.Based on the communiques on China's outbound investment issued by the ministry of commerce over the years,this paper makes a statistical analysis of the overall situation of China's outbound investment,and makes an analysis of the investment flow stock and industry level in the “The Belt and Road” area to clarify the fact that the “The Belt and Road” area has become a new growth point of China's outbound investment.Further comparative study on the investment status of countries along the belt and road from the designated areas to the industrial level shows that China's existing investment options for different industries in different regions are mainly for the purpose of resource acquisition and low-end manufacturing and processing,but comprehensive investment has begun to be laid out.Considering the characteristic of the area,by choosing a representative of the association of ASEAN data from 11 countries and five central Asian countries,use regression model to verify the influence factors of industry to foreign investment have workforce,research and development level,infrastructure,etc.,and all the way area initiative factor as a policy on China's foreign industrial investment also has a strong role in promoting.Through the comparative study of the industrial investment in “The Belt and Road” region,the paper concludes the investment strategy of radiating the region on the basis of the investment emphasis by utilizing the resource endowment.Based on the research conclusion and enlightenment,three Suggestions on China's industrial investment in “The Belt and Road” region are put forward.
