Research On The Impact Of Industrial Agglomeration On The Innovation Performance Level Of The Zhu San Jiao Metropolitan Area

Innovation is the core driving force of economic and social development and an important factor to enhance the comprehensive national strength.However,there are still some problems in the innovation ability,such as lagging development and unbalanced resources.However,with the continuous improvement of the layout of the metropolitan area,the innovation driving effect of the industrial agglomeration in the metropolitan area is significant.In Beijing Tianjin Hebei,Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta metropolitan areas,Pearl River Delta metropolitan area accounted for more than 30% of patent applications in 2018.Therefore,this paper takes the Pearl River Delta metropolitan area as the research object,analyzes the overall level of agglomeration,specialization and diversification of its manufacturing industry and producer services industry,as well as the impact on the innovation performance level of the Pearl River Delta metropolitan area.This paper first demonstrates the spatial spillover of industrial agglomeration from the perspective of the status quo and spatial autocorrelation of the metropolitan area;then analyzes the long-term effect by using the spatial Doberman static model and the shortterm effect by using the spatial Doberman dynamic model,and tests the relative robustness of the results and the continuity of the innovation process.In addition,the effects of long-term and short-term effects,industrial agglomeration specialization and diversification on the innovation performance of the Pearl River Delta metropolitan area are classified.After the analysis of the model,it is verified that the spatial Doberman model has a relatively high pertinence to this study.This paper holds that the manufacturing industry in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan area is in a perfect stage,and there is spatial heterogeneity in the metropolitan area;the producer service industry has greater development potential;the impact of industrial agglomeration on innovation performance in the long and short term is significantly different;the industrial specialization and diversity agglomeration in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan area have similar effects on innovation.On the whole,although the impact of industrial agglomeration on innovation performance in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan area is complex,because it is still in the development stage,industrial agglomeration plays a positive role in promoting the level of innovation performance in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan area.This paper suggests that policies should encourage the scientific development of industrial agglomeration distribution in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan area;promote the trans regional flow of enterprises and labor force in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan area;formulate reasonable long-term and short-term policies for regional differences in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan area;and make use of the two-way promotion of industrial agglomeration and innovation performance in the Pearl River Delta metropolitan area.
