For a long time,the commodity industry has been greatly affected by the economic cycle,and has the problems of low economic value added,instability in profit and vulnerability to risks.The fluctuation of natural rubber industry and difficulties in operation is further be exacerbated due to its comprehensive attributes as agricultural product,industrial product and financial product.I take the Thai SD Group as the research object.As a middle management staff of its China branch,I will study the business model and competitive strategy of the SD Group rubber business through the understanding of the industry environment and the group,and discuss the specific ways and guarantee conditions for the strategy to implement.This thesis focuses on the macro environment and industry characteristics,comprehensively uses various analysis tools such as PEST,Porter Five Forces,Value Chain,SWOT to analyze the shortcoming and key elements for the future development of the Group rubber business.The strategy will help SD to further break the singularity of the business,reduce the risk in business operation,and achieve the long-term growth of the company. |
