Research On Optimization Of Inventory Management Of Plant XH

With the accelerated development of economic globalization,the connection between the single economy community and the world economy community will become closer and closer.The environmental of competition being more and more diversified.For manufacturing enterprises,the core competitiveness of supply chain is the capabilities on how to managing inventory.However,the instability and uncertainty of market demands are also changing.Personalized demand for products and the willingness to obtain products quickly have being increasing day by day.It is very crucial for the manufacturing to set up strategies of inventory management.This paper studied based on a private coating making plant,Analyze the company's current status and existing problems in inventory management.Starting from the competitive environment and running condition of the company,it combines the current theoretical basis of advanced inventory management and advanced Inventory management experience,design a practical and feasible inventory management optimization plan,ensure that the optimization plan can be implemented from the technical level and the management level,and finally monitor the degree of inventory management improvement through the designed management indicators.Firstly,this paper illustrates the relevant literature and theory of inventory management home and abroad in order to set up the theoretical basis of the inventory management of this paper.Secondly,analyzes the current operating environment of XH Company,finding the root causes of problems which occurring in the actual inventory management process.Then developing corresponding inventory management plan,adopt the improved ABC classification method to distinguish the finished product(raw material)into stock items and order items.And build up the inventory for Stock items due to relatively stable demands,Using the reorder point method to manage the stock items,and set alarm reminders by using ERP system It also starts from the forecast management and the procurement management of the supply chain to improve the accuracy of the forecast,reduce the generation of slow moving inventory,enrich the procurement methods,reduce the inventory level.Finally,bring in the third-party training resources,establishment of inventory optimization and improvement teams,establishment appropriate monitoring indicators to ensure the smooth implementation of the optimization program.To ensure XH Company continues to optimizing inventory management project.The paper fully considers that situation of lower information technology level of private enterprises,to propose practical solutions to the inventory management problems for XH Company;it would be a better practice for other enterprises faced similar situations reference.
