This paper mainly studies J Company existing inventory status and inventory management.The purpose is to improve the inventory management strategy and management,so that J Company can maintain the optimal inventory quantity,thereby reducing inventory costs and reducing business pressure.Based on the actual data of J Company,this paper compares the existing production,sales and inventory data,analyzes the problems of J Company’s current inventory and warehouse management,and uses the combination of ABC classification and XYZ classification to inventory.Importance is classified and management is differentiated.According to the analysis results of inventory classification,different inventory management strategies are adopted for different types of inventory products,and three methods of economic batch,reorder point and regular order are used to verify the inventory classification management method.At the same time,it also made recommendations for the key improvement of the warehouse management-residual inventory.From the aspects of the improvement of the production warehousing process and the improvement of the warehouse operation efficiency,the improvement of the inventory of the difficult inventory was analyzed,and the warehouse was optimized.The management system and operational efficiency improve the inventory management level of the warehouse.Finally,according to the data of J Company from October 2018 to February 2019,the inventory indicators of the optimization and improvement activities were compared before and after.The data shows that after using the management method proposed in this paper,the inventory quantity,inventory turnover rate and warehouse operation efficiency are effectively improved.The research results of J Company in this paper can also be used as a reference for other manufacturers to optimize inventory management. |
