Nowadays, the aging degree of population in our country is deepening, and the pressure of aging population in rural areas is greater than that in cities, the elderly in rural areas become a large number of vulnerable groups.China's rural young and middle-aged labor force has been facing the accelerating process of urbanization to go out to work, the scale of rural families are becoming smaller, the traditional family disintegrated. On this basis, the form and content of the old people's demand for intergenerational support for the children of migrant workers and the form and content of the children's supply of intergenerational support for the elderly have changed, the elderly left behind in rural areas are difficult to enjoy "family happiness ",their spiritual life has also changed a lot,but the existing research has paid less attention to the current situation of rural intergenerational support supply and demand, the current situation of psychological welfare of the elderly, and the impact of intergenerational support supply and demand on the psychological welfare of rural elderly, and few data focus on the rural elderly in Shaanxi.Under this background, this study takes the rural elderly in Guanzhong area of Shaanxi Province as the research object, analyzes the present situation of rural intergenerational support supply and demand, the present situation of psychological welfare of the elderly in Guanzhong area of Shaanxi Province, and discusses the positive and negative effects of economic support, life care and emotional comfort on the psychological welfare of the rural elderly in the supply and demand of intergenerational support, and finally puts forward some suggestions to improve the psychological welfare of the rural elderly and improve their quality of life. This study used the data of "rural elderly survey" implemented in some areas of Guanzhong,Shaanxi Province at the end of 2017 to explore the influence of intergenerational support supply and demand on the psychological welfare of rural elderly.First of all, this paper analyzes the present situation of intergenerational support demand and intergenerational support supply for rural elderly and children in Guanzhong area of Shaanxi Province, and understands the demand for intergenerational support for elderly people with different individual characteristics through cross-table and chi-square test, respectively, and understands the intergenerational support supply of children to the elderly through mean comparison and t test or single factor variance test, and compares the differences between supply and demand of intergenerational support;Secondly, this paper analyzes the positiveeffects of supply and demand of intergenerational support on the psychological well-being of rural elderly, and analyzes the positive effects of supply and demand of intergenerational support on the psychological well-being of elderly people by comparing the mean values of life satisfaction of elderly people with different individual characteristics.Thirdly, this paper analyzes the negative effects of supply and demand of intergenerational support on the psychological well-being of rural elderly, and analyzes the negative effects of supply of intergenerational support on the psychological well-being of elderly people by comparing the mean values of depression of elderly people with different individual characteristics. Finally,it concludes and puts forward some policy suggestions to improve the psychological welfare of rural elderly. The study found that the rural elderly still have a large demand for financial support from their children, although the children also give a large degree of financial help, but still show insufficient, the elderly can still perceive a large amount of financial pressure;the elderly care for their children's life requirements are not high,at the same time the children provide less real life care;the elderly especially need children's company, their spiritual world is urgent to fill, compared with the children's emotional support is still insufficient;in general, the rural elderly living in the upper and middle level of depression,it can be seen that the rural elderly attitude towards life is more positive; The higher the demand for economic support for their children, the higher their life satisfaction;emotional comfort is the most important factor affecting their life attitude;age and physical health are also important factors affecting their psychological welfare;the relationship between life satisfaction and depression of rural elderly people is not completely opposite, that is,the positive and negative life attitudes of rural elderly people are not completely opposite, the vast majority of elderly people are satisfied with the current living conditions, but at the same time, there are different degrees of depression in the elderly. This study believes that we should actively deal with the aging of the rural population:actively carry forward the culture of filial piety, strengthen the children to provide diversified support to the elderly parents;improve the level of rural public services to meet the diverse needs of the elderly;guide and strengthen rural community exchanges, enrich the spiritual culture of rural communities.
