Per the changeable requirements on higher performance lower cost and lower spending on the routing operation from customers,there was more and more attention on SCM's saving and standardization of Wind turbine producer in wind power industry.Company X was a classical and typical Vendor for those wind turbine groups,whom had been assessed by combined assessment of customer and final user of Wind turbine at middle of June of2016.Hidden troubles which were found in assessment about their operations,would make Company X lose the market and the trust of customers even.Series of potential risks and weakness were found on their daily Operations.Summary as: 1)frequent Requirement releasing and special Voice have been noticing to them during the fully project period,which effected their daily operations passively and triggered challengeable issues very often.Lean production theory missing and preventive quality management sense are poor.2)Platforms of wind turbine and pertained modification are changed very fast,developed Tech.and advance process were tough enough for their producing,meanwhile cost saving and shorter lead-time were chasing wave and wave.Under the shortage of capacity and production bottle neck the company have the big risk to lost customer and marketing sharing.3)Account managers are always arguing for their directly customer' PO just for the on time delivery from their side,the planner was enforced to an unreasonable production plan.Each working station were asked for their business as high priority,disorder and disunity actions makes partial overproducing and many bottle neck stations.4)Lacking a flexible method for production organizing and weak control action on internal logistic aspect.Missing a stable customer service process,inactive and case following way cannot happy with customers complains.Points to the weaknesses above,Company X have much more space and rooms for relevant improvements.The feasibility analyses with plentiful Operations management theory were acted during the study.On-site data collection and following up of assessment findings ensure the methods of study as data-based.Document literatures case analysis and comparative test way were used,and guidance from professor was referred also.Upon the study and improvements of Company X side,create the lean principle andawareness;optimize the planning methods reduce the wastes;using partly pull system to fulfill a balance of production;enhance the capacity saving the cost of operations;happy customer create a stable process for high level relationship sustained.Via case study on a classic vendor's development,a discussion of the clue for SCM standardization within wind industry was been sketched,of which were about vendor's finding,developing,maturating.A general method to chase supplier's improvements could be realized,highlighted key elements for suppliers growing up.
