A phenomenon participated by a new type of pseudoscience emerged in recent years. With a reference of existing investigations over versatile kinds of non-science,this study has defined such new type as soft-pseudoscience and categorized the publicated books of its kind.A thorough survey in libraries of two universities was made to expose the acceptance and distribution of these books. And a sorting over the surface features of these books was done to show the details about the scopes, publicating procedures and authors of them.Afterwards,a more explicit demonstration and deconstruction of their contents was carried out,in which the most concerned issues were casual links between concepts and the creation of new concepts.Generally, the study found that theories and conclusions in soft-pseudoscience are always fuzzy and without certainty, where casual systemic links between everything are established and the explanory power of theories is severely exaggerated. These books reflected various non-science thoughts where fallacies and unnecessary factors like nationalist sentiment were easily found, which draws soft-pseudoscience far away from any of meaningful studies. An analysis consisting both internal and external incentives was made to explain the present situation of publicated-book-based soft-pseudoscience.Distinguishing soft-pseudoscience and orthodox science lead to a critical stance towards soft-pseudoscience and relativists who claim soft-pseudoscience is merely an ordinary form of knowledge.Soft-pseudoscience phenomenon demands a better resource allocation in publication field and shows the betterment of people's scientific quality has a long way to go.
