China's economic strength has continued to increase since reform and opening up.In the 21 st century,China has become the world's second largest economy, and the speed of economic growth has surprised the world.Since Peru implemented the economic recovery policy, the economy has been operating smoothly.Peru's economic growth rate is in the middle reaches of Latin American countries. Both China and Peru are playing an increasingly important role in the development of the world economy.China advocates free trade, and Peru,as the first country in Latin America to sign a free trade agreement with China,is also actively promoting the development of free trade.Since China and Peru formally established diplomatic relations in 1971,the trade between the two countries has been continuously close.Trade in goods has always been the main trade between China and Peru. The rapid development of China's economy has led to a growing domestic demand for energy.China's large population consumes a large amount of energy, and a large part depends on imports.Peru is a country rich in natural resources,so Peru 's exports to natural resources account for a large proportion.Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the governments of China and Peru have formulated a number of trade policies for the development of bilateral trade between the two countries. The signing of a free trade agreementbetween China and Peru in 2009 laid the foundation for the further development of trade between the two countries. At present, the trade momentum between China and Peru is developing well, and the commodity trade structure between China and Peru is complementary. In the trade between the two countries, more than 70% of the products have achieved zero tariffs.By 2018,China has become Peru's largest trading partner, largest export market and largest source of imports for five consecutive years.Peru has also become China's fourth largest trading partner in Latin America. Therefore,it is necessary to study the problems and reasons in the development of bilateral trade between China and Peru. The article consists of five parts. The article first introduces the background and significance of topic selection in the introduction,at the same time combs the relevant research by scholars at home and abroad, clarifies the main methods and content of the research, and summarizes the innovation points and deficiencies of the article; The second part introduces the theoretical basis related to this article;the third part introduces the development status of bilateral trade between China and Peru from four aspects: the scale of trade between China and Peru, the structure of commodities, the structure of trading countries, and the closeness of trade links. The analysis shows that the trade ties between China and Peru are constantly strengthened, and the bilateral trade development between the two countries is relatively stable. The fourth part of the article, through further analysis and analysis of the data, finds that the bilateral trade between China and Peru exists.China 's foreign trade volume is low,China 's severe deficit with Peru,China 's bilateral trade with a single commodity structure, and China 's and Peru 's free trade zone implementation are not significant. After analyzing the problems existing in the bilateral trade between the two countries,it is found that the two countries have large differences in economic foundation, infrastructure and trade environment. The fifth part proposes their own ideas on promoting the better development of bilateral trade between China and Peru.Suggestions include measures to increase China's exports to Peru, increase China's investment in Peru's infrastructure, increase the use of e-commerce platforms by China and Peru, and upgrade China's and Peru's free trade areas to promote bilateralrelations between China and Peru. The development of trade;at the end of the article, the outlook for bilateral trade between China and Peru is proposed.
