China is in a critical period of economic transformation.In the face of a highly uncertain market environment,change and innovation are gradually becoming the theme of corporate development.However,traditional enterprises,especially "China time-honored" enterprises,are limited by their original management mechanisms,thinking models,and organizational concepts.They have weak self-renewal capabilities and cannot fully adapt to the current environment.Therefore,how to improve the renewal ability of enterprises has become the focus of scholars and enterprises in China.In view of the current research on the organization renewal mechanism of China time-honored enterprises,this thesis attempts to explore the organization renewal mechanism of China time-honored Enterprises from the perspective of strategic management.Because there is a close relationship between organizational renewal and entrepreneurial orientation in corporate entrepreneurship theory,this thesis focuses on research questions and tries to answer: Does the China time-honored enterprises implement an entrepreneurial orientation strategy help improve its organizational renewal ability? How to convert between the two?In order to solve this problem,first of all,this thesis combined the theory of dynamic capabilities,introduced the organization routines updates as a mediating variable,and supportive human management resources practices as a moderating variable,and constructed a theoretical model between entrepreneurial orientation and organizational renewal.Second,the research hypotheses were tested using empirical analysis software such as SPSS and Lisrel by using survey data from 400 "China time-honored enterprises".Finally,combined with the results of data analysis,this thesis draws conclusions,while providing organizational renewal research with empirical data based on China Time-honored Enterprises,it also provides practical inspiration for traditional mature enterprises to improve their organizational renewal capabilities.The empirical research results show that:(1)entrepreneurial orientation is positively related to organizational renewal;(2)Organization routines updates and organizational renewal have an inverted U-shaped relationship,that is,Organization Routines Updates has a positive effect on organizational renewal,but it is not a simple linear effect;(3)The positive effect of the entrepreneurial orientation on organizational renewal is mediated by the organizational routines update;(4)Supportive human resource management practicesplay a moderating role between entrepreneurial orientation and organizational renewal.Compared with previous research,the innovation of this thesis lies in:(1)The integration of organizational routines updates and supportive human resource management practices further clarifies the mechanism of organizational updates,and provides research on organizational updates based on traditional Chinese mature enterprises.The empirical data is the deepening and development of the theory of organizational change and strategic change in the Chinese context.(2)It verifies that the organizational routines update as an intermediary variable,the inverted U-shaped relationship between it and the organizational update,and the moderating effect of supporting human resource management practices,to a certain extent,makes up for the shortcomings of organizational routines update research.The inverted U-shaped curve has important theoretical significance,further deepening the previous research,and providing a more complete model for the renewal of the time-honored organizations.
