While China's banking industry has made tremendous achievements,the intensity of competition is also increasing day by day.In the fierce competition of banking industry,the similar phenomena of banking products are gradually increasing,and the "human" factor plays a more and more important role in the competition.Customer manager system is the inevitable choice for banks to work around customers under the condition of market economy.Customer manager is the smallest but most important part of the main body of marketing,winning target customers,preventing capital risk and value creation.It plays a vital role in the competition among banks in the new era.Effective management of bank's customer managers is based on the establishment of an effective performance appraisal system.In recent years,the importance of performance appraisal research of credit customer managers in small enterprises has gradually been highlighted.As a financial enterprise,banks have special social responsibility.Providing commercialized and sustainable financing channels for small enterprises is the glorious historical mission of commercial banks in our country and the inevitable requirement of the development of banks themselves.Since its establishment,the Postal Savings Bank has been insisting on serving small and medium-sized enterprises,which has contributed a great deal to the development of many small enterprises in China.This paper chooses to study the performance appraisal system of customer managers of small business loans in S Branch of Postal Savings Bank.Firstly,this paper introduces the relevant concepts of performance appraisal and the current research situation at home and abroad.This paper then introduces the business development of small enterprises in S Branch of Postal Savings Bank,the personnel composition of small enterprise customer managers and the performance appraisal of small enterprise customer managers.This paper also uses the questionnaire survey method to analyze the current performance appraisal system of small business customer managers,and finds that there are some problems: not in line with the current bank strategic planning,the clarity of assessment objectives needs to be improved,ignoring the assessment of team cooperation,lack of perfect performance feedbackand so on.These problems are not conducive to the further development of small business loan business of S Branch of Postal Savings Bank in the era of fierce competition among banks.Based on the analysis of the strategic objectives of S Branch of Postal Savings Bank and the post responsibilities of the customer managers of small enterprises,this paper proposes to set up a special performance appraisal working group.This paper also optimizes the selection of evaluation indicators and the allocation of index weights in the original performance appraisal system of small business customer managers by using key performance indicators,Balanced Scorecard and analytic hierarchy process.This paper strengthens the construction of performance feedback and the effective application of performance appraisal,and puts forward three safeguard measures on organization,system and technology.This study improves the performance appraisal mechanism of customer managers in small enterprises of S Branch of Postal Savings Bank.This study promotes the further development of small business loan business of S Branch of Postal Savings Bank.This study contributes to the improvement of the financing environment of local small businesses.
