In recent years,China's demographic dividend gradually fades away,rising labor costs and reducing labor force have appeared normal and prominent in domestic manufacturing industry,which the survival and development of labor-intensive enterprises have suffered unprecedented challenge.In this context,the situation showed a favorable turn with the progress of automation equipment and industry.The introduction and application of a great many automation facilities not only alleviate the impacts of labor shortage and labor cost growth,but also effectively enhance production efficiency and product quality,and expand production capacity and profits.Faced with the increasingly fierce market competition in manufacturing industry,A company,as a pioneer in the industry,lays greater stress on introducing automation suppliers and equipment.Developing,selecting and managing the automation suppliers suitable for the enterprise plays a vital role in A company's overall upgrading of automation production and core competitiveness.As a consequence,the development,evaluation,selection and performance management of automation equipment suppliers serve as the focus of A company in terms of supplier management.This paper draws on the theories and methods relevant to supplier management,considering the progress and characteristics of automation equipment industry,with the method of combining references,case analysis and practical experience to explore the development,evaluation and selection,performance management of A company in automation equipment suppliers.A company's industry,background,organizational structure,purchasing status and supplier status are introduced in order,along with automation equipment supplier development,evaluation and selection,performance management;followed by the analysis and summary of the deficiencies and reasons involved in A company in automation equipment supplier development,evaluation and selection,performance management.Through the comprehensive application of Delphi Method and Kraljic Matrix,this paper analyzes and confirms the strategic positioning of automation equipment suppliers,on this basis,the deficiencies in the development,evaluation and selection,performance evaluation management of automation equipment suppliers are studied in all directions,and finally the overall improvement scheme and safeguard measures of supplier management are put forward,and the effect of verification scheme is tracked.The purpose of this paper is to upgrade the company's automation equipment supplier management in the competitive manufacturing industry with regard to supplier development,evaluation and selection,performance management,etc.,thus promote A company to re-recognize?locate and manage automation equipment suppliers,to identify and establish a scientific professional automation equipment supplier management process,so as to seek for thorough solution to the impacts of labor shortage and manpower cost growth on A company.In this way,it may enhance the automation production scale and quality as well as the core competitiveness.
