As the most basic level in the multi-level capital market system,regional equity market has natural advantages in improving the standardized operation level of enterprises,implementing the government's preferential policies for enterprises and serving the regional economy.In recent years,with the introduction of a series of policy documents,regional equity market operating institutions have also ushered in new opportunities for development.Jilin Stock Exchange Co.,Ltd.,as the only legal regional equity market operation organization in Jilin Province,which has been filed by China Securities Regulatory Commission,has not fully played its platform function after its re-establishment in November 2018,and its driving role for regional economy has not been fully demonstrated.Therefore,this paper takes Jilin Stock Exchange Co.,Ltd.as an example to explore the existing problems and the reasons behind them.By analyzing its internal and external environment,it puts forward the follow-up development strategy,which has a certain practical significance to improve the ability of Jilin Stock Exchange Co.,Ltd.to serve small and medium-sized enterprises and promote the regional economic development of Jilin Province.This paper takes Jilin Stock Exchange Co.,Ltd.as the research object.Firstly,it elaborates the background,significance,theoretical basis and research status of related fields at home and abroad.Secondly,it briefly introduces the basic situation,function orientation and development status of Jilin Stock Exchange Co.,Ltd.,finds out the existing problems of the company,and further analyzes the reasons behind the problems.Thirdly,through PEST analysis,SWOT analysis and other analysis tools,it combs out the external opportunities and threats faced by Jilin Stock Exchange Co.,Ltd.,and finds out its own advantages and disadvantages.Finally,based on the results of strategic analysis,the strategic objectives of Jilin Stock Exchange Co.,Ltd.,the type of strategy,specific implementation plan and relevant measures to ensure the implementation of the strategy are defined.This study found that from the perspective of Jilin Stock Exchange Co.,Ltd.,it has the qualification advantage of regional stock market operation organization,and the positioning of provincial state-owned enterprises also provides favorable conditions for its business development in Jilin Province;however,it also faces the situation of slow development,weak profitability,single business type,weak innovation ability and talent introduction Difficulties and other disadvantages.From the perspective of external environment,at present,governments at all levels attach great importance to the development of regional equity market.The industrial foundation and location advantages of Jilin Province also give birth to a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises.A considerable number of small and medium-sized enterprises have financing needs to be solved,which provide a good foundation and favorable opportunity for the development of Jilin Equity Exchange Co.,Ltd.At the same time,we should also see that there is a certain degree of homogeneity competition between the regional equity market and the new third board market,the relevant rules system is still being built,and the overall characteristics of the market are not obvious.Generally speaking,the disadvantages of Jilin Stock Exchange Co.,Ltd.are greater than its advantages,but the future development potential of regional stock market is huge,so to speak,the opportunities are far greater than the challenges.Therefore,this paper holds that Jilin Stock Exchange Co.,Ltd.should implement the intensive turning strategy,make full use of the qualification advantage of Jilin province's only legal regional stock market operation organization registered by China Securities Regulatory Commission,accelerate the process of strategic transformation,introduce specialized strategic investors,enrich business types,and strive to beat Jilin Stock Exchange Co.,Ltd Build a comprehensive application platform for provincial government to support small and medium-sized micro enterprises.
