As advanced rail transit equipment products,Chinese EMUs have attracted much attention,but with the continuous improvement of information technology and intelligence and the increasingly fierce competition in the market,Many manufacturing companies that provide transportation equipment face many pressures such as low efficiency of discrete assembly,increasingly stringent quality requirements and rising costs.In order to meet the needs of the market and improve its overall operating efficiency,companies should seek management breakthroughs and changes,learn to introduce Lean Six Sigma management methods and implement Lean Six Sigma management.This article aims to organically integrate Lean Production and Six Sigma,carry out Lean Six Sigma management methods research,systematically use Lean Six Sigma management methods and tools,and solve the production and quality problems faced by G company body welding in research practices.,To optimize production efficiency and improve product quality.First of all,through the development of the Chinese EMU,G company's existence of long body welding production cycle,uneven processes and a low pass rate,leading-in Lean Six Sigma management methods.And understand lean production and Six Sigma origin,development history and related concepts.Secondly,the paper analyzes the present situation of G Company,and focuses on the key problems affecting the long welding production cycle,uneven process and low pass rate of the first inspection.Based on the key issues identified,the direction of improvement is determined for the subsequent Lean Six Sigma improvement project.Finally,through the system application of Lean Six Sigma related management methods and customer needs analysis,value flow analysis,process flow analysis,key quality characteristics,production line balance analysis,brainstorming,arrangement diagram,bone map,DOE and other management tools,According to the DMAIC process,with G's body welding production and quality as the research object,it is truly applied to the production and quality improvement,and the improvement results such as high efficiency,equilibrium,and improvement of the pass rate of the body welding are obtained.
