An Empirical Study Of Supply Chain Concentration,Ownership Concentration And Corporate Financial Performance

In the process of globalization today,the changes in the market environment have accelerated and the competition faced by enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce.The competition among enterprises has become a thing of the past.Competition among enterprises has evolved into competition among supply chains.In order to maintain a competitive advantage and achieve a good performance,an enterprise should integrate every aspect of the supply chain,especially the close communication and cooperation between upstream and downstream partners.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the degree of supply chain concentration to improve corporate performance.The text studies corporate performance from the supply chain perspective,and adds ownership concentration as a moderating variable to further explore the role ownership concentration plays in the relationship between supply chain concentration and corporate financial performance.This paper collects data of listed companies in the manufacturing industry from 2010 to 2016 and uses Eviews software to conduct empirical analysis,including descriptive statistics,correlation analysis,regression analysis,and robustness test.Through empirical analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The supplier concentration has a significant positive correlation with the financial performance of listed companies in the manufacturing industry.(2)The customer concentration has a significant positive correlation with the financial performance of listed companies in the manufacturing industry.(3)The degree of ownership concentration plays a positive regulatory role in the influence of supplier concentration on corporate financial performance.(4)The degree of ownership concentration plays a positive regulatory role in the influence of customer concentration on corporate financial performance.The innovation of this study is that when analyzing the effect of supply chain concentration on corporate financial performance,ownership concentration is added as a regulatory variable to further enrich research results in the field of supply chain integration.Based on theconclusions of the study,this article puts forward some suggestions and hopes to provide reference for China's manufacturing companies to implement and improve supply chain integration.
