New Exploration Of The Monetary Theory In Capital And The Contemporary Value

In the perspective of the classical economics,money will not have a substantial impact on economy because of its neutrality,and the full liberalization will solve the problems in money' allocation.However,the monetary system,based on the classical economics,brings about the inefficiency of the global money market and widens the gap between the rich and the poor.It is urgent to study the critical academic theory of money in Capital,enhancing the money theory with Chinese socialism characteristics.Our investigation begins with understanding Marx's philosophy and social science methodology system.As far as Marx is concerned,old materialism pays attention to the objectivity,ignoring the social factors,while the idealism emphasizes the subjectivity,ignoring the reality factors.After the criticizing of the traditional philosophy,Marx put forward the historical materialism.When applied to the economic field,we should analyze the social reality from the perspective of economic relations.The transformation in philosophy field is applied to the analysis of economics,and used deeply in the field of money.In Capital Volume I and Volume II,Marx focuses on ?the essence of money?,?money function? and ?money capital circulation?.In Capital Volume III,Marx mainly discusses the bank theory,interest rate theory and exchange theory,analyzing the money problem in a more specific way.According to Marx's view,although the market-oriented monetary system may enhance the efficiency,it will make a huge financial monopoly capital class,leading to the huge poverty gap,economic crisis etc.Above are the conclusions drawn after the exploration: firstly,the classical economics and the Neo-classical monetary theory can't be useful because of the lack of economic relation analysis,and the personal profit maximization can't lead to the maximization of the whole society;secondly,Marx applied the economic relation analysis to the monetary field,which makes the monetary theory in Capital surpass the classical economics,providing theory resources for the establishment of monetary theory with Chinese characteristics;thirdly,in the process of the interest rate,exchange rate reform,and the RMB internationalization,we should adhere to the socialist monetary development road,and highlight the importance of government in leading social arrangement in monetary system reform,to avoid the negative effect.
