According to No.1 Central Document 2019,"The country should optimize the quality standardization of characteristic agricultural products,strengthen the protection of geographical indications and trademarks of agricultural products,creat a series of " local " and " township " brand of characteristic products.The document also emphasized the importantance of regional brand of agricultural products in rural revitalization." Chengdu is one of the most developed agricultural areas in China.Within this land,farmers have created rich and colorful crops,such as Wenjiang Garlic,Qingbaijiang Longwang Tribute Chives,Longquanyi Honey Peach,Dujiangyan Kiwifruit,Pixian Bean flaps and other authentic agricultural products,which are deeply loved by consumers.However,Chengdu's agricultural products receive less brand name awareness,it has become the key of enhancing the competitiveness of Chengdu's agricultural products,To establish regional brand of agricultural products and expand its influence.Based on the existing management knowledge,sorting the concepts and characteristics of regional brand of agricultural products,the country-of-origin effect theory,the theory of strategic brand management and the influencing factors of regional brand building of agricultural products,Through the case analysis,field interviews,empirical analysis and other methods to analyze the current situation of regional brand building of agricultural products in Chengdu,we have concluded that there are some problems in the construction of regional brand of agricultural products in Chengdu,such as low added value of agricultural products,weak brand influence,low brand value and weak brand protection.The main reasons caused these problems include low production technology and scale effect of agricultural products,weak brand propaganda,insufficient brand operation ability and insufficient attention paid by the government to brand construction.According to the current situation of regional brand building of agricultural products in Chengdu,SWOT analysis is carried out on the environmental conditions of regional brand building of agricultural products in Chengdu combining with the problems and reasons existing in regional brand building of agricultural products in Chengdu,the strategies of regional brand building of agricultural products in Chengdu are put forward,including increasing technical support for agricultural products,enhancing scale effect and publicity,promoting brand management and increasing government support.Regional brand building of agricultural products has become an important approach for local-government to promote regional economic development.According to the analysis and research,this paper puts forward the current strategy of regional brand building of agricultural products in Chengdu,providing a practical idea and reference for regional brand building of agricultural products in Chengdu,and the agricultural development,economic development in Chengdu.
