In recent years,domestic consumer market continues to grow steadily,and the basic role of consumption in economic increase has been further strengthened.Since Ma Yun first proposed the concept of "New Retail" at the Apsara Conference in October 2016,the new retail in China has been developing rapidly,which has a great influence on traditional retail enterprises.If you want to survive in such a fierce competitive environment,high-quality internal management is essential for the retail industry.Working capital management,as an important part of financial management,affects many aspects of enterprises.Therefore,high quality working capital management is of great importance to retail enterprises.The traditional working capital management method generally focus on the management of a single working capital project.Such management is not suitable for today's competitive environment,and it is difficult to expose the deep problems existing in the enterprise's working capital management.Based on these factors,this paper introduces the perspective of value chain management into the working capital management of enterprises.The theory of value chain emphasizes the whole benefit of enterprises,and it is also closely related to working capital.In this paper,through sorting out the relevant literature of value chain,working capital management and working capital management from the perspective of value chain,combing the strategic management theory,channel management theory and cash holding theory,and summarizing a set of evaluation system of enterprise working capital management.Taking Hualian supermaket as a case company,this paper combs the composition of the company's value chain and evaluates its working capital management status from the perspective of value chain.The study found that from the perspective of the value chain,there are four problems in the working capital management of Hualian Supermarket: the regional leading strategy is not suitable for the development of the current company,the relationship between stakeholders in the value chain is unstable,the distribution of corporate funds is unreasonable,and the working capital of the company The management concept is backward,and the causes of these four problems are analyzed.In response to these four issues,corresponding improvement measures are proposed: adjusting corporate strategy according to the current economic situation,optimizing external value chain stakeholder relations,making full and reasonable use of corporate funds,and increasing management's emphasis on working capital management.The research results of this paper enrich the case study sample of enterprise working capital management from the perspective of value chain.At the same time,I hope that through the research in this article,we can improve the working capital management level of Hualian supermaket and provide a reference for enterprises of the same type in the industry.
