Working capital is vital to the operation and development of the company.As the most liquid capital of the enterprise,the level of working capital management directly affects the efficiency of resource allocation of the entire enterprise.In the 1990 s,domestic scholars began to study working capital.Later,with the outbreak of the financial crisis,research on working capital management gradually received widespread attention.At present,the research on working capital management begins with the efficiency-oriented,independent subject-based single subject management,extending to the management model,channel theory and supply chain management from multiple perspectives.The vigorous development of the network economy has promoted increasingly fierce market competition,and working capital management has become the focus of corporate financial management research.In the 21 st century,information technology has developed rapidly,and working capital management is no longer limited to traditional channel management,and is gradually based on the entire supply chain.To better adapt to the development environment,enterprises must pay attention to supply chain management,take supply chain management as the strategic core of enterprise development,understand the level of enterprise’s own working capital management,and improve itself in an increasingly fierce external environment.Competitiveness.Based on the domestic and international literature review of supply chain and working capital management,and the related theoretical overview,this paper selects the evaluation indicators to measure the performance of enterprise working capital management from the four dimensions of supply chain upstream,internal supply chain,supply chain downstream and horizontal supply chain.In the various working capital management performance evaluation methods,the entropy method is selected to explore the level of working capital management.This paper takes the retail enterprise X company as the research object,analyzes the basic situation of its supply chain and working capital management,and deduces the ranking of X company’s working capital management performance by referring to the relevant indicators of other 9 retail enterprises,and finds out its Analysis of the problems and causes of working capital management,and propose optimization strategies for the management of working capital of X company based on supply chain.Therefore,in the specific working capital management practice,enterprises should combine their own characteristics,rationally allocate resources,and improve the overall supply chain management level.
