Research On The Influence Of Factor Endowment Structure On Standard Supply Of China's Manufacturing Industry

Standards are seenable everywhere in human activities,and standardization develops along with the progress of human society.With the rapid development of society,economy and science and technology,especially the combination of informatization and Internet,industrial and social forms transform and emerge ceaselessly,and standards are in broad and diversified demand in various fields of economic and social development.As the scope of application of standards has gradually expanded,the standards have covered the primary,secondary and tertiary industries and various fields of social undertakings.However,some scholars pointed out that the lack of effective supply of standards is the main problem in the construction of China's standard system.Nonetheless,the research on the distribution and supply of standards in various industries and fields is still relatively rare at present.Based on the current research,this paper focuses on the distribution and supply of standards in the industries,and discusses supply of standards by means of quantity.As the pillar industry of China's national economic development,the development of manufacturing industry fully reflects the country's economic power and innovation ability.In this context,this paper focuses on the manufacturing industry situation and explores related issues of standard supply.This paper first introduces the definition of standard and defines the concept of standard supply and relative supply of standard.Then,after discussing the connections between standard and factors and the external and internal influence factors of standard supply,this paper analyzes the mechanism of factor endowment structure on standard supply.Furthermore,this paper analyzes China's sixteen manufacturing industries about the development and conditions of factor endowment structure and standard supply after finishing industry classification.Next,through using 1993-2016 panel data of these sixteen manufacturing industries,the empirical test about the relationship between factor endowment structure and standard supply is carried out.The empirical results show that capital labor ratio,R&D input intensity,R&D manpower intensity,innovation coverage have a positive impact on standard supply.Combined with the research goal,a case study on Zhuzhou Institute Co.,Ltd.is carried out.Finally,according to the theoretical analysis and empirical results,thispaper proposes some policy advice,such as promoting the upgrading of factor endowment structure,allocating reasonable resources for standard supply,formulating appropriate industry standardization strategies,and paying attention to the coordinated development of quantity and quality of standard supply.
