Research On The Spatial Structure And Growth Effect Of County Towns In Anhui Province

Since the reform and opening up,China's urbanization has developed rapidly.China's urbanization rate has increased from 17.9% in 1978 to 60.6% in 2019,but China's urbanization process still has a long way to go.The construction of new urbanization further emphasizes the need to develop county towns as the basis to promote the coordinated development of small and medium-sized cities,thereby promoting rural urbanization,but the spatial organization of cities of different sizes has not been mentioned.County is the most obvious geographical space in the interaction between urban and rural people and land,and it is the basic unit of urban space composition.A reasonable county spatial structure is enough to accelerate urbanization,narrow the gap between urban and rural areas,and coordinate urban coordination at all levels,then improve the quality of new urbanization.So,what kind of county spatial structure can promote county economic growth?This article takes county towns in Anhui Province as the research area and the spatial structure of the county towns as the research object,focusing on the impact of the spatial structure of the county towns on the economic growth of the county.The two dimensions of single center and multi center,compact and scattered are used to measure and describe the spatial structure of county towns in Anhui Province,and the impact of the spatial structure of county towns on the county economy is tested through theoretical and empirical analysis.The main conclusions are as follows: First,in terms of time,the spatial structure of counties and towns in Anhui Province has gradually developed towards a single center and compactness,and its single centrality and compactness have increased year by year.Single center and compactness are the spatial structure of county towns in Anhui Province The main form of expression is that the spatial structure of most counties in the province is mainly single center and compact.From the perspective of spatial distribution,the single centrality and compactness of southern Anhui area are larger than those of central Anhui and northern Anhui area.Due to the higher overall development level of county area in southern Anhui area,this shows to a certain extent that single center and compactness can promote county economic growth.Second,in terms of the effect of promoting county economic growth,the spatial structure of a single center can promote county economic growth,but the effect is not very significant.On the contrary,the compact spatial structure can significantly promote county economic growth.Third,the spatial structure of towns in counties can improve the industrial structure of counties.Compared with the single centrality,the compactness and decentralization of the spatial structure of counties and towns have a more significant effect on optimizing the industrial structure of counties.According to the level of economic development in the county,there is a difference in the optimization effect of the spatial structure of the county town on the industrial structure of the county.In counties with a high level of economic development,a multicenter,decentralized spatial structure can increase the proportion of secondary industries in the county.A single center and a compact spatial structure are more conducive to the development of the tertiary industry;in counties with a lower economic level,a single center The decentralized spatial structure helps the development of the secondary industry in the county,and the single-center,compact spatial structure is more conducive to the development of the tertiary industry.Fourth,the size of a county town can adjust the impact of the spatial structure of the county on economic growth.When the county towns are small in size,the single-center,compact spatial structure promotes the county's economic growth;when the county towns are large in scale,the multi-center,compact spatial structure is more conducive to the county's economic growth.Based on the above conclusions,policy recommendations such as optimizing the distribution of county town scales,improving county town system planning,rationally promoting population transfer to achieve county spatial agglomeration,strengthening county infrastructure facilities and improvement,and strengthening county township spatial classification guidance are proposed.
