Since the 18 th year of the Party,China’s economic development has made great achievements.China’s economic development has maintained medium and high speed growth for a long time.Over the past five years,the gross domestic product(GDP)has increased from 54 trillion yuan to 82.7 trillion yuan,an average annual growth rate of 7.1 percent,accounting for about 11.4 percent of the world economy,contributing more than 30 percent to the world economic growth.At the same time,the economic structure has been constantly optimized,the driving force of development has been strengthened,the efficiency and quality of development have been steadily improved,and great progress has also been made in meeting the growing material and cultural needs of the people of our country,and great progress has also been made in the construction of social and cultural aspects.On this basis,General Secretary Xi Jinping has made great progress in the ten aspects of the Party.In the report of the Ninth National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),it is clearly pointed out that "after long-term efforts,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era," and the concept of a new era has also been put forward for the first time.However,in the new era,the development of socialist market economy in China is also facing many problems,such as overcapacity,increasing downward development of China’s socialist market economy system in the new era,and on this basis,to explore the path of development.This paper uses Marx’s productive forces theory,socialist market economy theory and Xi Jinping’s new theory.Based on the theory of socialist economic thought of the times,this paper studies the development of socialist market economy in our country.The main contents of
