In the context of the development of economic globalization,trade between countries develops frequently.As an important economy in the development of world trade,China began to implement the market diversification strategy very early to ensure its market share and economic status.South Africa and China are both co-chairs of the forum on China-Africa cooperation,important members of the brics,the g20 and the United Nations and other multilateral organizations.It can be seen that under the background of increasingly close trade development between South Africa and China,the study of issues related to the development of trade between China and South Africa and the new requirements and expectations for the development of relations between the two countries under the majorcountry diplomacy with Chinese characteristics in the new era has a positive and far-reaching impact.At present,trade between China and South Africa continues to develop in depth and in practice,showing a good momentum of all-round,wide-ranging and multi-level rapid development.However,in the process of developing trade between the two countries,problems that should not be underestimated gradually emerge,which affect the development of bilateral economic and trade relations to a deeper level.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to conduct a comprehensive study on the current situation of trade development between China and South Africa in order to better promote the development of bilateral trade.This paper mainly includes four parts: the current situation of the trade development between China and South Africa,the problems in the development of the trade between China and South Africa,the analysis of the factors influencing the growth of the trade between China and South Africa,and the Suggestions for the development of the trade between the two countries.Firstly,this paper analyzes the current situation of bilateral trade development from the two aspects of trade volume and trade structure characteristics between China and South Africa.In terms of trade structure,it mainly analyzes the complementary characteristics of the commodities traded between the two sides,and then analyzes the structure composition of the commodities traded between the two countries and the complementary index based on the economic theory.Then,on the basis of the current situation of bilateral trade development,this paper analyzes the main problems in the process of bilateral trade development from five aspects,and combines relevant data to prove that the obstacles to bilateral trade development do exist.And then through the general market constant model in international trade model(CMS)from the perspectives of the three factors to boost the growth of trade between the two countries,and embarks from the reality factors,such as from the two countries have their own development trade conditions as well as in today's era of global economic integration situation to illustrate the favorable factors of the development of trade between the two countries.Finally based on the scale of bilateral trade status of mentioned above,each index and trade complementarity index,and the current bilateral trade between the two countries development problems existing in the process of analysis put forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions: China,South Africa,the two countries should deal with political diplomatic relations with each other,give play to the role of political economic impetus,promote the development of mutual trade law;We will seize the opportunity presented by the "One Belt And One Road" initiative to deepen bilateral trade cooperation.Optimize trade structure,attach importance to trade balance,establish harmonious trade relations;We will strengthen exchanges and cooperation and actively build the Chinasouthern Africa customs union or promote regional trade integration.
