With the arrival of the industry 4.0 era, industrial robots have gradually entered the public view, which is the core equipment of China’s intelligent manufacturing industry. In order to help the transformation and upgrading of national manufacturing industry, vigorously promoting the development of industrial robot industry has become the trend of the times. While, the development of industrial robot industry is most inseparable from the support of funds. However, under the influence of multiple external environment and its own factors, the financing environment of China’s industrial robot industry is not completely optimistic. Therefore we need to increasing efficiency and quality of industrial robot industry.Based on this,it is of practical significance to study the financing efficiency of industrial robot enterprises. This paper selects 28 industrial robot enterprises listed in A shares as samples. With the help of the BCC model in the data envelopment analysis method,we first measure their financing efficiency in 2016-2018 from a static perspective, and then use the Malmquist model to carry out supplementary analysis from a dynamic point of view. The results of static analysis show that the overall comprehensive technical efficiency of industrial robot industry in China is low, most companies are in the state of inefficient or ineffective financing, and profitability is the most important output index for industrial robot enterprises to be improved. The dynamic analysis results show that during the period 2016-2018,the industrial robot industry in China changed from total factor productivity growth type to recession type,in which technological retrogression is the main reason for the decline of industry financing efficiency level.
